Canadian postal codes:

Our Canadian postal codes contain over 758,000 records in a comma-delimited ASCII file. The base product contains the postal code, the province abbreviation and the city/town name.

Please Note: our postal code data is current and accurate (we are authorized resellers for Canada Post). We update our Canadian data about every 2 months because there are usually thousands of changes with each edition.

You need to purchase the base postal code product and can optionally purchase area code, latitude / longitude, and time zone add-on products as well.

Canadian Add-On Products:

Area Codes: This is the primary area code for the postal code. This is up-to-date with the new area codes.

Latitude/Longitude: This add-on is very popular! It is being used to calculate the distance between 2 postal codes in Dealer / Store Locator applications (such as in Bullseye, where you find the nearest dealer, store, etc.). Currently, our latitude / longitude info. contains over 5,400 unique points throughout Canada and is ideal for a dealer / store locator application. It is also used with products such as our Zip Search Deluxe to find all of the postal codes within a given radius. In the major cities and suburbs, we have a unique latitude/longitude point for each FSA code (the first 3 characters of the postal code) — some cities have more than 50 FSA codes. In the rural areas, we try to get one point for every town. We have accurate latitude/longitude info., without the high cost of street-level data!

Accurate Time Zones: If you need to do telemarketing, this will help you so you don’t call a phone number at the wrong time. It also has a Daylight Savings Time flag.
